Deacon Geoff Bennett: Praying for kids guided to Drag Queen Story Hour

"Go to RespectLifeDenver.org to find out more details about prayer vigils and what we're planning on doing to defend children and protect them from these harmful [Drag Queen Story Hour] shows that are really trying to indoctrinate them," said Deacon Geoff Bennett, the host of Respect Life Radio. "What we have found is that this is actually an organized plan. This isn't something just happening randomly throughout the United States."

In addition, Respect Life Denver invites those concerned to attend morning Mass at Nativity of Our Lord in Broomfield on Saturday, Feb. 29, then participate in a public Rosary and prayer vigil in front of the Broomfield Library. The prayer vigil will take place at same time that the library is inviting children to attend a Drag Queen Story Hour that morning.

Kristen Day: Pro-life Democrats must stand up to abortion lobby

"Pro-life Democrats have to stand up and say, 'No, we're not going to bend any longer...to this abortion lobby,'" said Kristen Day, executive director of Democrats for Life of America. "The Democratic Party has to support these candidates. If the abortion lobby comes in and starts attacking a pro-life Democrat, they have to stop it."

Day generated attention in January by asking Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg at a televised town hall in Iowa if he wanted "the support of pro-life Democrats" and if he would support "more moderate platform language in the Democratic Party..." Morgan Zegers: Why young people are prey to lies of socialism

Polling data over the past decade indicates that a declining view of capitalism, among respondents ages 18 to 39 in 2019, puts it roughly equivalent to socialism, according to Gallup.

"We do this through educational videos, through investigative reporting, by sharing the stories of women and girls who have chosen life, and making sure women know about all of their life-affirming options."

Greg Baylor: Fairness for All Act a bad compromise on religious liberty

"The Fairness for All Act essentially creates all the problems that The Equality Act creates, and then exempts a handful of people from those problems, and then they call that a victory for religious liberty," said Greg Baylor, senior counsel of Alliance Defending Freedom. "I would say it's a victory for religious liberty not to create the problems in the first place."

Baylor is a previous guest on Respect Life Radio, where he discussed The Equality Act , which passed the U.S. House of Representatives in May 2019. The Fairness for All Act is purported compromise legislation, proposed in December by U.S. Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah. Louis Brown: Health care is the pro-life battleground

"I want to wake the Catholic community up and the pro-life community up...that the playing field upon which all the pro-life issues are determined is in health care," said Louis Brown, executive director of Christ Medicus Foundation, who recently wrote an article titled, "Health Care: The Greatest Pro-Life Political Battle of Our Time." 

"The philosophical and theological underpinnings of our health care system is what will determine whether we protect the unborn, pregnant women, the dignity of human life, because so much of that is dealt with in the health care" system, said Brown.
